Many eBay listings, especially furniture, are marked collection only. You can still buy them if you arrange a courier to collect on your behalf.
Check the listing
Message the seller before bidding to confirm they're happy for a courier to collect. Most are.
Arrange the collection
Once you've paid, send the courier the seller's details, collection postcode and the item size. They'll arrange a convenient time with the seller.
Protecting your purchase
Ask the courier for photos at collection. If anything isn't as described, raise it with the seller through eBay before it's moved.
